| September 21, 2003 We entered Yellowstone from the west, via West Yellowstone
Montana. West Yellowstone is a charming little town and we found it a very
convenient alternative to staying within the national park. The edge of town is
within walking distance of the park gate.
Within minutes of entering the park we saw our first herd of Elk. |
